1. PAY THE TICKETS – This method will definitely get you out of jail. However, payment will be at the maximum fine amount and all the money owed to Dallas, Allen, Anna, Arlington, Balch Springs, Bedford, Carrollton, Cedar Hill, Cockrell Hill, Colleyville, Coppell, Denton, Duncanville, Desoto, Corinth, Euless, Farmers Branch, Farmersville, Flower Mound, Forney, Frisco, Garland, Glenn Heights, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Highland Park, Hurst, Irving, Lancaster, Lewisville, McKinney, Melissa, Murphy, Mesquite, Plano, Richardson, Rowlett, Rockwall, Royse City, Sachse, Seagoville, University Park, Hutchins, Wilmer, Wylie, Fort Worthwill report the violations to the Department of Public Safety who will then report the violations to your insurance carrier. Basically, this method only digs a deeper hole. It will also cause your insurance carrier to drop you until you purchase SR-22 insurance for high risk drivers. This insurance is very expensive and must be bought in 6 month pre-paid blocks.
2. SIT THE TICKETS OUT IN JAIL – This is the dumbest way to take care of a citation out of the city of Dallas, Allen, Anna, Arlington, Balch Springs, Bedford, Carrollton, Cedar Hill, Cockrell Hill, Colleyville, Coppell, Denton, Duncanville, Desoto, Corinth, Euless, Farmers Branch, Farmersville, Flower Mound, Forney, Frisco, Garland, Glenn Heights, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Highland Park, Hurst, Irving, Lancaster, Lewisville, McKinney, Melissa, Murphy, Mesquite, Plano, Richardson, Rowlett, Rockwall, Royse City, Sachse, Seagoville, University Park, Hutchins, Wilmer, Wylie, Fort Worth for all the reasons explained in number 1 above. You may get out of the fines, but you will not get out of the suspension and/or having the traffic tickets reported to DPS. 3. HIRE A BAIL BONDSMAN – Although this is better than sitting the cases out in jail or paying them, it is still not the best route. Here is a little secret about bail bond companies. They are not attorneys. Further, they do not file the bond for your traffic ticket warrants. An attorney does that for them. You are simply paying a middle man to go out and hire a traffic ticket lawyer which you could have done yourself. They take a cut of the money and give the rest to the lawyer. Many times you will call the bail bond company after hiring them inquiring about your case and they will simply tell you to call the attorney they hired for you. That attorney may request that you pay them an additional fee because they were paid “only to lift you warrants and not for representation in court.” Don’t get ripped off by this scam. You can hire any number of attorneys directly, speak with them directly, and have your case handled by them directly.
4.
