Occupational Drivers License Texas-Dallas

The Beltz Law Firm

An occupational drivers license (aka ODL) is a conditional or restricted driving permit which allows the holder to operate a motor vehicle on the public streets of Texas for limited purposes and for limited periods of time.

The reason many people need an occupational drivers license in Texas varies, but the laws of Texas are very strict about driving; therefore, people may make a mistake or two which causes them to lose their driving privileges for a specific period of time.  Some people need an ODL for only a year or two, while others may need them for multiple years.  In any case, an ODL is good for only one year or less unless the court granting the ODL specifies otherwise.

As you can see, the laws regarding an occupational drivers license in Texas are difficult to understand.  Therefore, you need the help of an experienced ODL attorney who practices in the Dallas area to help you obtain your ODL both safely and effectively.
